The Space Needle tower, Seattle before the snow!

The server for the website is very unstable today. It took me more than hour before I can actually get to admin page and by the time I am trying to add this post… the server got an error again! I am hoping that by the time I finish with this blog, the server will be back up again.

Thanks to Hans for letting me join the trip and thanks to me for inviting myself into the TRIP, haha. And because of that, I got to take the amazing road trip from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada! It was a week long trip! Amazing trips As for me, I didn’t really know where were we going, I simply just… “hey can I come?” And then… went home, bought the plane ticket, packed my backpack… and the next morning we were on the way to our very first stop, San Francisco.

We love to plan things ahead of time because planning will prepare us for whatever obstacle that may confront us later. However, planning may prevent us from reaching our true potential, within us. I would plan everything that is related to work because they need to get done.  I would never plan anything about myself… so that I won’t have any expectations of anything… and because of that, I get to be AMAZED at everything that would happen around me!

Instead of planning… I set goals and then simply do whatever it takes to achieve it. With this… I allow more possibilities of reaching that “GOAL” rather than restricting myself to “a plan” and try to make that plan work.

I may be very bad at planning… but I always reach my GOALs in ways that I would never have imagined!
Hum… a metaphor to this would be, just throw me into the water and I’ll learn how to swim in seconds… LOL!

Seattle was one of our stops during the road trip… and it was just amazing how I just keep walking for hours after check-in at the hotel and to have found the Space Needle and — to be amazed by it!!!

Seattle Pike Place Market

Seafood!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really really really really want some SEAFOOD right now!

This picture was taken at Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA looking for breakfast before we kept driving north to our destination, Vancouver, Canada. It is just a week left before the final exam at Les Roches Marbella. Normally, before any exam I would just indulge myself with all kind of food just to reward myself for studying and to have the motivation to keep on studying til the exam.

And now… I want seafood… but I don’t know where to get a good fresh seafood around here. Sigh….

Want some?

What do I miss the most about the city? It would be the Night-Light just like this, in Seattle…

Seattle Space Needle View

I just like this view… from the top of Space Needle, Seattle, WA. In many cities we can’t really see the light of a shining bright star in the sky at night. But in return, we get to have the city light in all sources of colors. Also, unlike a falling star… you get to see the lights moving in stripes of lines, up and down, left and right…light on, light off… from each window and car. Green to Yellow… to Red, repeat… and keep on repeating.  The ambient sounds of the city along with the playful light in the night… has turned a quiet night into a poetic canvas… the melody from the heart of the city.

the view from the top of the world… Space Needle, Seattle, Washington.

Space Needle View

I don’t get to experience this type of view much. I remember there was only “this” one, in Seattle, Washington. On top of the Space Needle… Freezing COLD and WINDY !! This one was on December 30, 2008. Hans, Heather and I had dinner here, fortunately enough, they had a table available for walk-in. We weren’t planning to eat here, it was just that after we arrived at the hotel in Seattle, as usual, they decided to stay in the room for a while. Mean while, I went out and started walking and that is when I spoted the ALIEN space craft and start walking toward it. By the time I got there, a half hour later, (and it was around 7pm, freezing cold), H2 called me, so I invited them over to the Space Needle for the restaurant. The food was amazing, the server was great, the view … just amazingly crazy, especially when the restaurant rotates while you are dining there, The Sky City. We got to see the entirety of Seattle by just sitting there. It was A la carte’ style, with full silver service. The cost??? Let’s not mention it. Haha. Let’s say that, it was an experience that I will never forget…

Another one was actually on December of 2007, but it was on top of the City of Angels. It was at the Tallest building in Thailand, Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Bangkok. The restaurant here doesn’t rotate like the one in Seattle. However they have an out door balcony that rotates, much faster than the one in Seattle. It was amazing memory, an unforgettable one, none the less, they have a live singer, by a Lady and a Gentleman with a guitar that walks around the restaurant and sings songs around the restaurant. And woah… they walked to our table and I still remember the song, very clearly and the moment was just… unexplainable.

The song was…

sleepless night in Seattle…

sleepless night seatle

I watched that movie a long long time ago; very sweet, very romantic, very touching and entertaining. I love watching movies… I can watch movie after movie, all day long. I guess that makes me a very fanciful person, unrealistic and very dreamy. So is it bad to be so dreamy? I dont’ really know, but i know it is not wrong to just dream big… or dream of things that people think is “impossible” or not “plausible,” but hey,….  it just the way I am… and I just dream… and hope… because after all “Hope achieves the impossible”
