The bakery started when my cousins and I always wanted to eat cake and pastries. Back in 1992, a bakery wasn’t easy to find and if we could find one, they would be pretty costly. So my auntie started baking cakes, breads and cookies for us from time to time.
As simple as that, our love for eating cakes turned into a bakery shop.
The shop wasn’t fancy nor trendy but simple and homely. We have never done any advertisements before. All of our loyal customers are through word of mouth. As for this post, it is pretty much word of mouth as well as I hope that if any of our reader ever visit Bangkok, be sure to come visit us!
For more information and our address… click the image below to be taken to the Muangsiri Bakery (facebook page)
For our Thai readers, be sure to come by and try our simply delicious cakes, breads, cookies… etc!
Looking forward to serving you soon.

There were days when I had buckets full of cherry tomatoes while watching a movie back in the States. Those days are gone because it is so hard to find fresh and sweet cherry tomatoes for a good deal here in Bangkok, until 2 days ago when I found them at Grossi!
I took the photo of these cherry tomatoes during a photo shoot of Guy Grossi, the famous chef from Melbourne. It was amazing to be at the set during the shoot because I got to learn so many photographing techniques. Anyway, I was carried away taking pictures of the props at the set but after looking thru all of my photos taken that day (2 days ago) I found this picture, the cherry tomatoes resting on a marble table of the Grossi Trattoria & Wine Bar at Intercontinental Bangkok to be very refreshing.
I got to admit that… half of those cherry tomatoes disappeared… but I really don’t know what happened to them!
Yumm… Sweet… Juicy… Refreshing!..
Opse… don’t tell anyone

It has been months since my last really good pastry. It’s an hour passed midnight and I just suddenly had the craving for French pastries which reminded me of the shop that Simon and I visited at a city fair in Orgiva. I remember he bought a loft of bread a size of a football! You can see that piece of bread next to his water bottle. Huge! Another amazing thing was that the piece of bread is gone after half an hour and that was him, him alone!
How I wish I could grab a piece of these pastries now, along with jamón (dry-cured Spanish ham) and olive oil. Wouldn’t that be nice!!!
Good times!

It is very unhealthy for me to be blogging this right now, late at night, because I want to have all of those sweets right now! It was so good! We had a full box of them for our breakfast, lunch and dinner! This is the Dunkin Coffee by the Sol metro station in Madrid, Spain. How lucky were we to have found this shop right when we were starving!
That was the best box of donuts ever! So sweet, so good… very very good!
Okie…. that’s it, I am going to get a box of Dunkin Donuts tomorrow!

After more than a month, I have seen so many McDonald’s and heard so much about it during class because we always talk about why it is so successful. During the “just drive” trip, we actually stopped for McDonald’s however, I didn’t find what I wanted, which is the $1 (dollar menu) or the (euro menu, since we are in europe) There is no surprise at to how it is going taste, because it tasted exactly the same as the one that i had in California, Thailand, Singapore, China and now Spain. How could one achieve that standard!!!! Amazing!!!! It is something that we can expect from any locale. Well, i am a big fan of McDonald’s food but i am trying to stay away from it because it tastes so good that i will keep eating it. I remember one of those day that i had McDonald’s as Breakfast, Lunch and dinner… oh well. A good old time but it wasn’t as healthy as home made food.
Ohhhhhh, i am so craving for this chinese noodle, with black vinegar, eggs, and some veggies. Darn it! now i am torturing myself thinking about it.
okie, 14 hours from now, if everything goes will, i will be doing the some dancing from the song “Snake dance” by Jay Chow. hahahahaha, why? Because an event won’t be an event without entertainment. And I’m going to make it a FUN event.
And to paraphrase a quote i learned from BASIC is that … IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME!!!!
